Sedation for Dental Implant Treatment
For patients who are nervous about their implant procedure, Dr Ali’s team provides safe Intravenous (IV) Sedation, to help you feel calm and comfortable in the dental chair.
During the day of your procedure, Dr Ali’s team will make sure you’re comfortable in the dental chair before administering the IV sedation. The effects will be quick, making sure you feel completely relaxed, in both mind and body, before your surgery commences.
Once the sedation wears off, you will have very little recollection of the procedure and should feel yourself again after 24 hours of rest!
IV Sedation is a good option for those who:
- Are undergoing lengthy dental surgery, like Same Day Implants.
- Have a very sensitive gag reflex.
- Need multiple procedures performed in one appointment.
- Have severe dental phobia and/or general anxiety.
